The Vivotek IP7361 is a high level functioning 2.0 megapixel bullet network camera primarily designed for outdoor video surveillance. High resolution video capabilities, Day/Night functionality and the tamper preventative design make the Vivotek IP7361 the right IP camera for applications including parking lots, gas stations or perimeter security.

 

The IP7361 features a high definition 2.0 megapixel image sensor allowing for video resolutions up to 1600 x 1200. By providing such a high video resolution the IP7361 provides 6 times more coverage as compared to standard VGA resolution IP cameras. With the inclusion of ePTZ functionality, operators have the ability to quickly target key areas for close up shots without having to physically move the camera. Operators may also choose to receive only the portions of the video images that are required by using the video cropping function. This added functionality allows for better bandwidth consumption. Multiple video streams can be individually configured for simultaneous viewing allowing operators to configure a high resolution video stream for local monitoring or recording and also allow for configuration of another video stream with reduced bandwidth usage for remote or mobile surveillance viewing. The inclusion of 3GPP mobile surveillance support enables the IP7361 to produce a video stream for viewing on a 3G capable cell phone or smart phone. Proper bandwidth usage is also a key component of the IP7361 with the inclusion of adaptive streaming support that will allow for dynamically allocated bandwidth according to the video content and trigger state.

 

The IP7361 is designed for outdoor applications with the inclusion of 3~9mm Vari-focal, Auto-iris lens which will allow for quick adaptation to changing sunlight. The IP7361 is also capable of functioning at night with the inclusion of a removable IR-cut filter and infrared illuminators built directly into the camera. This enables the IP7361 to function both during the day and at night without sacrificing video image quality. The IP7361 comes built into an IP67 rated outdoor housing for protection against varying weather conditions and also features the ability to conceal all necessary wiring within the camera’s mounting arm for added protection against tampering or vandalism. In addition to the physical protection against tampering, the IP7361 also includes tamper protection built into the camera providing the ability to notify users if the camera has been tampered with.

 

Additional features include support for PoE (Power over Ethernet) which may help to reduce installation cost by providing power to the camera on the same Ethernet cable that the video stream is present on, features built-in storage via a SD/SDHC card slot for local storage capabilities and also features Two-Way audio for full two way voice communication.
